      Millie has two Masters Degrees and has dedicated over 20 years’ experience to the art and science of enhancing a person’s smile and oral health.

      Dr Millie has spent her entire life immersed in caring for dental patients. She grew up in Patra, Greece, where her mother is a general dentist. Her sister is a specialist dentist (qualified in oral medicine and special care dentistry), and her brother-in-law is the director of UCL Eastman Dental Institute and a professor of oral medicine. Millie represents the fourth generation of dental professionals in her family. Millie is extremely proud of her history and the reputation of her family as leaders in the dental field. Her mission is to provide excellence in dentistry with the highest level of service in an enjoyable environment for her patients, staff, and dentists.

      Dr Millie obtained her degree in dentistry in 2001 and is committed to keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques; and continues to undertake various postgraduate courses. She has successfully completed the prestigious degree of Master of Science in Endodontics (root canal filling and microsurgery) at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute. 

      Dr Millie is an extremely caring dentist and takes enormous pride in her work. She provides dentistry of the highest standard and believes in pain-free treatment, clinical excellence and superb service. She is extremely experienced in dealing with simple to complex treatments.

      Dr Millie’s philosophy of practice is to provide relationship-based, patient-centred, and comprehensive care in her dentistry. As part of her commitment to delivering high-quality dentistry to patients, Millie continues to travel worldwide to further her dental education and attends various study groups and courses throughout the year, updating her knowledge on all aspects of dentistry. Millie is greatly liked and respected by her team, patients and colleagues.

      In her spare time, Dr Millie relaxes by cycling, swimming, sailing, playing tennis and travelling in old cars.

      Eleni is a Senior Lecturer & Consultant Oral Surgeon at Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

      Her practice includes:

      • complex teeth extractions (including wisdom teeth, ectopic teeth in adults and children);
      • surgical procedures to assist orthodontic treatment (including expose and bond of canines, implant placement and bone augmentation/grafting);
      • management of cyst, soft tissue biopsies;
      • IV sedation; and
      • treating facial pain.

      Training:

      Following her graduation with honours from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Greece in 2010, she worked and trained at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals, at the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL and at the Edinburgh Dental Institute, NHS Lothian (where she completed her specialist training in Oral Surgery in 2018). Following the completion of her training she was appointed as an NHS Consultant in the same hospital.

      Teaching:

      She has completed a Masters in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, UCL and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in stem cells for bone and nerve regeneration from Edinburgh University alongside her NHS training. Her current job involves teaching and supervision of trainee dentists at various levels alongside her clinical work as a Consultant Oral Surgeon.

      Publications and Academic Recognition:

      Eleni has a broad experience of clinical teaching and research in Oral Surgery. She has multiple publications in peer review journals and has presented her work internationally. She teaches postgraduate NHS and university trainees, and is an external examiner both nationally and internationally. Eleni has represented prestigious organisations such as the British Association of Oral Surgeons and the Association of British Academic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
